CDW announced that Hang Tan will join the company on April 27, 2026 as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. He will report to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Christine A. Leahy and lead enterprise strategy initiatives. He will also oversee the transformation office and corporate development functions across the organization. The company expects this appointment to strengthen leadership focus and accelerate long term strategic execution. Tan brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology strategy corporate development and operations. He has worked with leading organizations to drive growth transformation and scalable business outcomes.
Recently he served as Chief Operating Officer of Hybrid Cloud at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In that role he helped scale the hybrid cloud business and improve operational efficiency significantly. Earlier he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise leading corporate FP&A and venture investments. He guided the company transition toward an as a service model with strong strategic direction. Before that he spent ten years at Bain and Company as a Partner advising global technology clients. He started his career in software development at Microsoft gaining early experience in technology innovation.
