Teradata Names Ken Ricketts New CISO to Strengthen AI Security

Teradata appointed Ken Ricketts as Chief Information Security Officer to enhance AI security and strengthen enterprise-wide risk protection measures. In this position, he will set the direction for Teradata’s cybersecurity strategy with an emphasis on AI safety. He will also enhance enterprise cloud protection, ensure secure product lifecycles and construct robust governance programs. Additionally, he will help establish a security-conscious culture that empowers innovation in AI. Ricketts brings more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud protection, and compliance. Previously, he provided advice to many top technology companies on security strategy as CISO in Residence at Insight Partners. He earlier built and scaled security operations for Coupa Software.

Driving AI Security and Enterprise Trust

Prior to these, Ricketts was Vice President at SurveyMonkey. Where he drove the scaling of secure infrastructure while protecting large SaaS platforms. Other valued cybersecurity positions in his career include Monster and IBM Global Services. He received his BS in Business Administration from UC Riverside.
