Jungbunzlauer has officially appointed Marcus von Twistern as its new Executive Vice President (EVP) Operations.
Von Twistern joins the company’s Executive Committee and assumes this vital executive role, effective August 1, 2026. He is directly responsible for global production facilities and the manufacturing strategy. As EVP Operations, his incoming responsibilities will focus on driving efficiency in operations across global markets. He also brings over 25 years of international leadership experience in this high-profile corporate role. He has extensive experience in production governance, industrial management, and large infrastructure investments. During his professional life, he has been responsible for complex industrial activities in Germany, China, Italy and the USA.

Prior to his appointment as EVP Operations, von Twistern served as Vice President Operations at UPM. Additionally, he held various senior executive roles at Evonik Industries. During his tenure there, he steered global production governance, enterprise performance management, and site-wide operational excellence. Therefore, his appointment as EVP Operations strengthens Jungbunzlauer’s ability to scale high-grade, bio-based solutions across multiple key markets.
